After installing 2 programs, my desktop shortcut images disapeared, how do i fix?

Hey guys -

yesterday i installed some software(Photoshop CS, and Dreamweaver), now today both my start menu and desktop have their shortcuts but missing the target image.

anyone know a fix? i remember back when i had windows98 their was a program something like michelangelo or something that refreshed them, but i cant find it.

anyone?
 
My first guess would be something changed your program files path.

Make sure it's still c:\program files

I had this problem also, I don't know what did it!
But what I did was click on each icon, go ot properties, click on change icon.. and then apply the icon that was the old icon.

But for some reason this happens and sometimes I didn't change the icons and then all of a sudden they were back to normal!

Is this some kind of virus or something?
 
that did it and saved me teh time of doing each one seperately.
