overiding GPU fan speeds (ati tool)

well i recently got a radeon x1600 pro, and the first thing i noticed about the card is that it runs quite hot (53-54c idle and 60's under load). so i decided to unlock its fan speeds which look like this atm:

with those settings the card idles at about 48c and under load it shoots up to 60 still.

what do you guys think? up the fan speed more and keep the card below 60's? or if i push the fan too much it'll crap out on me?

maximum fan speeds at ____ temps would also help me.

i just use rivatuner with my x1900xt and have the fan always at 85% 50c idle and like 66-70c load..

it seems to me that if the GPU is always being cooled at almost full max that then the GPU never gets too hot once under load

You're fine at those temps zsec, you could maybe up the fan a little bit but either way you are ok...

thos temps are fine...if the fan is annoying you you can lower the idle fan speed and increase the load fan speed but your temps are find id just make the 100% fan speed kick in earlier just incase
