Every time I put my x800xl on high detail for games it restarts pc?

Any ideas why this would happen?

It happens with RF Online, COD 2, and BF2.
Just happens in games with details on high, if I set the details to medium the game works flawlessly.

I have all the latest drivers.

I think its the video card, I hope not though. Can't afford another one with this house purchase comming up soon.

My specs are as follows:

Athlon 3700
2GB PC 3500 Geil Memory
500GB HD
SB Audigy 2
DFI Lan Party Motherboard
Antec True Power 2.0 550W Powersupply

Check your video card temps

Its the gigabyte x800xl with the heatpipe and no fan. Thing gets damn hot but it makes no noise..

I think u just figured it out.. U need a fan to get air moving over the thing, if the thing that goes over ur CPU HSF isnt getting enough airflow over it that it is probably overheating.
