Polk R50 79 bucks a piece

How's the quality on the speakers. I would love to get some as rear speakers.

Well I bought the R30's... which is a step down from the R50's... and I am blown away... they deliver is very full sound for the size...

Bumpage its on again...

and do you guys think the Monitor 50s are a lil better than the normal PA 50s??
and if you were to choose... would you pick a pair of:
PA 50s Or a JBL E80 or E90 Or Infinity beta 40 or 50s??
and when are these speakers first made??

Assuming I got a receiver, could I manage to plug my sound card into the receiver to get the speakers working with the computer?

listen for yourself to decide.. and the going up the line of the same company would most likely be better.

yes I do, just get the right cables.

I got a pair of R50's a couple of months ago, and I am consistently suprised at how good they sound.

i recently bought the r30s for $29 each on clearance and love them, i can only imagine how great those r50s must be

The Outpost site says Cherry, but shows black as a picture. The Polk site says they are only available in black.....should be interesting to see what comes in the mail next week. Black would be best....

I received the cherry ones, and the finish looks real nice on them, not a cheap glossy but almost a matte finish with clear woodgrain.
