Anyone know when this will be availiable?, my server has gone downhill. Ive seen the link on the site but its always greyed out.

Alot of poeple want this... IF it's gonna come, its either going to hit just before BC or shortly after.

just dont come to mannoroth my wait to get into the server is long enough :p

every server has gone downhill
even low pop servers have damn waiting queues
insanity

Dalaran is 10 min sometimes - NOT including the time it takes to wait for your character to load. plus i want to try out PVP

Despite having been asked for over the last seven or eight months, Blizzard has yet to announce any details. You can post on the WoW forums, and if you get a response, it'll pretty much say "We have no information on that at this time."

I'm glad I stopped playing.

azjol-nerub has 20 to 30 minute wait many nights starting around 9-10pm. bs

Yea what's up with Mannoroth? I have 2 characters there and I saw people running around screaming "change teh password! change teh password! Shut down thottbot info mods!". Is there some hacker or something?

Doomhammer does as well....but at much earlier times.....usually 6-7PM.

i think after all the people who got the game for xmas dont renew (cuz mommy wont pay) the server pops will go back to reasonable size again. except for the continually high pop ones.

maybe we should compile a list of servers that have queues so we can send them to blizzard :p
Im gonna copy and paste stuff because im lazy

Burning Legion, 10-20min queue at nights
Tichondruis usually 10 min but can be up to 30-45min
Doomhammer 20-30 at night

mannoroth has some sort of wait time.
Daggerspine has a small queue at peak times as well(yay for roommates)

They also locked Ner'Zhul, had 300+ ques on the weekend and seen a few 200+ on week nights.

Yep, thats where most of my main toons are. Downhammer.
I created some alts on a PVP server, Crushridge, which was Low pop not long ago. It might be medium now. Queues, lag, almost all the time.

the best thing about doomhammer is that its 2 words combined so you can make up a bunch of names for it:
craphammer
laghammer
downhammer
pantaloneshammer (lol that one was for fun)

i swear i spend more time on the wow forums than wow because doomhammer is always messed up

I'm on Dalaran as well, and the server is complete shit. Can't wait till they make transfers available.

And what's worse, the server people from Doomhammer were allowed to switch to, Perenolde, my server, is encountering queues 400 deep during peak hours. How many more server transfers will it take to stabilize the situation?

They should have never allowed transfers from one server to another existing, they should have opened new ones up and allowed characters on full servers to move over to the new ones. The 60+ million a month blizzard is making on subscription fees should easily allow them to open up another 20 or so servers.

Heh, I just started playing, hit recommend a server and it pulled up Emerald Dreams (RPPVP), I have only seen a waiting queue once, for about 4-5 seconds. Gald I'm not having the issues you guys are.

Really sucks to hear this from a sub. based game. They should have the resources...

I am on Lagetheridon small 20 sec wait.. my alt on eonar had a 20 minute wait, then the server disappeared from the list.

Almost looks like server switching is not the answer. Unless you let everyone switch and you stay put hoping your server pop will go down.

I am on Magtheridon also and I don't have a wait for the most part. Sometimes it is a small 30 sec to minute wait.

I play on Gorefiend and I have no problems connecting. Its a very high populated server. I haven't played WoW in a while sinced I moved so I have no internet at the house. Cable is getting installed this Friday, can't wait.

server switches wont work cause theres no where to switch too if you allow transfers lots of people will flood the other server just creating a problem there, they need just update each server so it can hold more people

I'm guessing eventually you wil be able to transfer server for a cost.

they said they will be doing this in the furture as well as account to account toon transfers

they never said an eta
but if you've know blizzard they never say an eta
*cough mage invisibility *cough

go make me some water

I can't even get into my character selection screen at the moment

I'm on Bronzebeard and it gets ~400 person lines every night. Vek'Nilash never has a wait though :)

Most nights recently from 6-10pm server time, the line is 500+ and about 40 minutes long on Burning Blade (PVP)...I've just been logging in when i get home from work and doing other things before checking back in with the game...sure would be nice for some upgrades though...

That's the server I was playing on until I cancelled my subscription in early December. For awhile, it was a great server with almost no queues to worry about. In recent months it had gotten pretty out of hand. It really sucks if you have a few disconnects during an MC raid and they have to wait fifteen minutes to get back on. Especially if one of them is your main healer.

I've written 3 emails to Blizzard/WoW saying that they should list the physical server location in the server list page, but they won't do it because it's someone else's idea.

Putz's!

I swear I read somewhere that the information used to be listed, but I could be wrong. I agree with you, however. I was on Azjol-Nerub, which is on mountain time. I'm on the east coast, so essentially everyone was two hours behind me. When I first started playing, I never considered this a big deal. However, when it comes to raid start times and other things like that, it's a huge inconvenience. When I leave the raid at 11:00 to go to bed, everyone else would carry on because they're almost all at 9:00.

It's also worth nothing that my ping was never terribly good. I had an alt on Arthas, and it would hover around 40-50 or so. On Azjol-Nerub, it never went below 170.

Im on Hellscream and we have some pretty big queues from time to time, but that is not why I want these character transfers. I want to be able to take my 60 druid/mage/priest and put them on the same server. My mage is a tailor/enchanter and Im losing gold.

Man I really really hope they let us switch. Plus I have two accounts, and I need to get my GFs 60 pally on a different account than all my 60s. I have my fingers crossed on this one, big time.

Hey retardedchicken, I'm on bronzebeard too. I notice the queues starting around 4:30 server time and get to well over 600 person lines. I've waited over an hour before just to log on.

I was a part of this moneysink for ages. Tailoring sucks, plain and simple, and is not profitable whatsoever. If Blizzard were to make bags soulbound, then perhaps tailors could make a little bit of money. As far as enchanting goes, I ended up disenchanting for profit after I got sick of sinking money into it. Just wasn't really worth it for me, although I had friends who did pull some pretty good bank on it, so it can be worthwhile.

On my Shaman alt (never got passed level 27), I did the 'two gathering professions' idea, and it was pulling in decent cash. I was a skinner/miner.

2 gathering professions is by far the most profitable. Skinning/herbalism can be good too because not many people sell herbs.

Im saying on things like icy/firey/+15agl+22int the big money ones, as well as some new tailoring things that are available like mantle of the timbermaw. Hell just selling Mooncloth helps.
