Was wondering which one is more receptive to bending?

Is there really a big quality difference in the two?

I have used Clearflex before but wanted to consider some Tygon if its better quality.

Holy shit...I dunno wtf I did but it was an accident. I think I had the [H] open to two different sub-categories and posted in the wrong one.

Can a mod please move this to the W/C section...LOL.

no this guy is [H] he is trying to watercool is psu, do they make those by the way?

I don't know about Tygon as I've never messed with it but I've got a foot long section of Clearflex and the same in Primoflex and the Primo is way more flexible.

The Clearflex does resist collapsing under tighter radius bends better though.

i havent used clearflex before, but I am currently using tygon, and it is very flexable, it also holds well to fittings!

I've used both before and really I don't think there is any difference whatsoever...I'm not sure but I think the clearflex is actually cheaper

Yes it is about half the price.

i have tried many different types of tubing, and i can tell you that tygon is hands down the best. next up would be the primoflex silicone tubing.

For what reasons?

Tygon is definately the best. It's clear, and looks a lot better than primoflex. I am about to switch all my primoflex for tygon, just because primoflex doesn't allow any UV glow through.

MasterKlear from mcmaster! only like, $0.40 a foot. It's what I use. Nice and clear, with an awesome bend radius.

For one thing the Primoflex is very limp and puts very little strain on the blocks.

Tygon all the way. It's lab grade tubing - very high quality, wouldn't use anything else tbh

I too use the MasterKleer tubing. The stuff has a nice tight bending radius, doesn't stain and if you get the 7/16"ID 5/8" OD tubing, you don't need hose clamps. I of course use stainless steel worm gear hose clamps as its just a little bit more insuarance against an unintended sprinkler system. Just heat up the ends of the tubing and it will slip onto 1/2" barbs. I however use a half-drop of dishwashing liquid to slip it over the barbs cause then you don't have to deal with limp tubing slipping all over the barb.

from the clearflex and tygon I have used, The clearflex is much stiffer, but the tygon colapses easier. If you are going to have more short curved runs, I'd go with the tygon. If you are going to have long runs then the clearflex will work just fine. On short curve runs, the clearflex puts more pressure on the components its attached to.. not so go when thats water blocks and its working against the retaining mechanisms. My Tygon was also thinner walled than the clearflex and required smaller clamps. The tygon is also a bit tackier to the touch, the clearflex is smoother to the touch.. not that it makes any difference. I've never had an issue with either in my setups.
