Recommendations on some hardware?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a good DVD writer and a multi-function printer?

I need to buy one for a friend and said I'd look into it for him.

The DVD writer will be mainly used to make home videos.

The multi-function printer needs to be just that. Multi-function. Photocopying, printing, scanning, etc. It also needs wireless capabilities to connect to a home wireless network.

Any help is greatly appreaciated.

I can't give you any recommendations for the printer, but for the DVD burner I would get a NEC 3550A

The NEC burner is a good one, so is the Plextor 716... as for mfp's anything by Epson (first choice) or HP in your price range would do very well overall.

I'll look into an EPSON printer and also the NEC burner. The shop I usually buy at doesn't have it so I'll have to look around and see if I can find it elsewhere.

Just go to one of the more reputable online retailers like....Newegg , Tigerdirect or Zipzoomfly Also in the case of Epson, HP, or Plextor, you can buy directly from their website.

Since I'm from Australia though, I try to stick to retailers over here. The one I go through didn't have the NEC although it did have the Plextor in stock. Quite expensive compared to some other brands.
