i started using a windows password a few months ago, but now i want to get rid of it. having to type in my password when nobody else is using my comp is getting extremely annoying. i know this sounds really noobish but, how do i remove the password? i cant find anything about this in 'user accounts' under the control panel. :(
thanks

I am going to assume you are using windows XP. control panel... user accounts ... click on the user that you want to remove the password from ... remove my password.

That is how it is done, I wouldnt recommend it though. I would recommend downloading a program called TweekUI from microsoft. It will allow you to set up windows so that it automatically logs on to your account when you boot up the computer. This is a much safer approach than removing the password all together.
