here's the line-up

As far as i know from looking at that line-up is that the only difference between these cards is the price and manufacturer.

I'm trying to get one that is reliable and will not cause troubles (fan dies, too hot, etc.)

Don't plan on overclocking.

Specs:
AMD 64 3500+ Venice
GA-K8N-SLI
1GB (2x512) Corsair Value

I know it's not on your list but I would probably choose evga. They have a lifetime warranty now and their step-up program sounds pretty good. In which case you got 90-days in which you can upgrade your card and they will give you credit on your old one.

I have 2 MSI 6600 GT's in SLI and havn't had a problem out of either one. they come with copper heatsinks and run pretty cool. They also come with a lot of games.

Really any 6600gt will do fine. I had 2 Gigabyte 6600gt's in SLI and had no problem with them. EVGA and BFG have lifetime warranties on them just incase your looking at that as a buying point.

great!

thanks for the replies.

yes, it look like i missed the eVGA from the line-up.

As far as the eVGA is concerned I was worried about some of the bad reviews on newegg saying that it runs really hot or that it might have compatibility issues on AMD machines.

Is seems that the lifetime warranty doesnt apply to this board: eVGA 128-P2-N368-TX because the warranty applies only to products ending in AX, DX, FX.

So, i'm not so sure...

10x again
