Just finished my first watercooled build. Check it out :D

CPU has a DD Maze 4 block.
GPU has a DD Maze 4 GPU block.
Rad is a DD Black Ice Xtreme
Pump is a DD CSP-MAG

Specs:
Antec Sonata Case
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
A64 3200+ Winchester
ASUS 6600GT
Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
2x 512mb Crucial Ballistix
74GB WD Raptor
120GB Seagate
520W OCZ ModStream Power supply

CPU before would idle arround 40c and load arround 50-55c. With the wc its idleing at 32c and loads at no more then 38c.

GPU before would idle arround 45c and load arround 70c. With wc it idles at 42c and loads at 50c max.

The fan on my rad has a speed control. it doesnt seem like changing the fan from the slowest to the max speed seems to make any diff on the temps.

Very nice! I cant wait to get my WC setup.

thought about it, but damn with the temps u posted, im sold can u tell me what WC setup that is please?

Very nice for first system, props on the cabling. Turning the hdd's around is a suggestion for an even cleaner look. Although looks great as is.

Incidentally, great case choice, as I've observed the Sonata is a gem for water cooling. It will readily accept up to a 120.2 rad internally w/o needing modifications.

My only gripe with your system is your clips... I had nothing but bad luck with those clips, leaks all over the GPU block area and leaks around my CPU block area... I could never ever get them tight.

But, other then that, good system!

One more thing, the tubing you have will eventually go cloudy, I had the exact same tubingand it did that to me.

Yeah, personally I dont bother with clamps anymore. Plastic ones are a bit weak and the worm type you need to be a contortionist to tighten them. Instead I now size the tube one size smaller then the barbs. ie 7/16 id tube on 1/2 barbs, results in a leak free joint w/o clamps.

Thanks for all the comments :)

I tried turning the hard disks arround before. Seemed like it was putting some ackward presure on the sata data and power connections so i turned them back arround.

I used a set of spring clamps to squeze the clips togeather. Worked prety good. All of the clips are fully closed so you cant get um any tighter. Clamp looks something like this.

i've got a few of those clamps in my water cooling rig, with no issues... but i mainly use the metal screw type clamps... they may look ugly but you won't get a better seal than those.
