What are the best worm hose clips for watercooling to avoid leaks, also ones that dont unscrew over time. Do people use some kind of thread glue to make sure it doesnt unscrew with time?

I need to be able to get these in the UK or at least a US dealer who can ship internationaly.

Just look in your local hardware store. If you've ever had worm drive clampsthat unscrewed over time, then those clamps were broken. Just get some worm drive clamps that fit your tubing size, and clamp them down as far as they'll go (unless you have flimsy connection where you could twist the barb out or otherwise cause a leak). If you really want a tight connection, then heat up the tubing when it's on the barb, then screw the clamp over the tubing, which will give you the ability to form the tubing to the clamp, making it pretty damn hard to come loose :)

Yeah, you need to get quality clamps. I get the military grade claps from McMaster. They work extremely well.

heat up the tubing while its on the barb! damn another neat trick.
Any specific brand of clip to use?

None will back off on their own. I use the ultra-cheap ones from K-Mart and they're great.

(After currency conversions) That's about the same price I got mine for here in the States, so I'd think that if they're good enough for NATO, they should be good enough for your loop ;)

the ones i use are stainless steel, made in germany by GENU (Gen u also makes them for mercedes benz and stamps there little logo on them)

you can buy these from mcmaster carr and the price is not half badI have the 10mm to 16mm ones

The ones I get from McMaster are the military grade ones by a company called "Breeze". You can definatly tell the quality clamps from the cheapos...

the band on the breeze is stamped all the way through on the ones i use they are not( less trama to the tube as the band is smooth.

If you would like i can post a photo of the ones i have alog with a part number.
