I had the money but I'm going to spend it on Formula 1 tickets in Monza. I have a business trip there and I have some time off to attend the race. 2 tickets for $850. I figure it's a once in a life time oppurtunity for me. I am a big Ferrari fan and I don't think I will get another chance to see Ferrari at home AND watch Schumacher race.

I guess I have to wait and see what happend Black Friday. Maybe I can pad my expense report to make up some of the money. Heck, the plane ticket itself if $15k.
 
congrats on the ticket man. i too am a huge Ferrari fan and had teh pleasure of seeing them test some of their cars on their test track in Maranello Italy. it was sweet.
 
Wow, yeah do that man, it will be worth it. I'd pass on the 2405 if I could go see the Indy 500.

Well, there are other stops I have to make. Italy first and then China. I will be literally flying around the world.

$15,000 for a plane ticket?? :confused: = why not just go economy for about $1,200 or first class for $5,000 and use the rest for a monitor and pocket change.. :D :cool:

Well look at it this way later when you are gonna get a new monitor there will be new and better ones. Than the 2405

RTW's kick ass, that is unless you are flying new york to dehli via vancover and hong kong. thats one 29 hour plane trip i wont soon forget.

Why, I grew up in Indy and believe me it's not all that, At least not anymore. Then again I've been about 12 times.
 
It's Business Class and I'm not paying for it. If they are going to fly me around the world and be well rested to do my job, then they better not stick me in coach! Now if they had a policy where I can fly coach and give me the cash difference, I would buy 2 or 3 2405's. Wouldn't that be sweet!

I'll probably end up buying it when I come back. I'll look into my "just in case" money. It's more like a "just in case I want something really really bad but I don't have money for it in my regular account."

I flew to South Korea in Economy many times... Not fun.. Especially when the guy next to you has to go restroom every 20 mins.. :rolleyes:
