Post your 3dMark 2005 scores here. (Link to list in 1st post)

That has never been a requirement over here.
Only if the person's score looks too high when considering their graphics card do I ask for proof before I put them in the list.

The Official [H]ard ORB requires a valid link so if you just can't take anyone at their word you can go over there for your [H]ard|Forum 3DMark hook-up.

Some scores do look a little odd. Lower cores and mem, but higher scores then a the guys below them. Oh well....This list is still the best I have seen! :)

4986, everything stock right now (see sig).

Also, my Dell 4700 running a P4 3.0Ghz, x600pro 256mb, and 1gb RAM scored 1820.

Added my "Uber" cooling mod back onto my 7800gtx. and installed the 77.76 drivers so I no longer get the cold bug.

Idle gpu = 33C
load gpu = 44C
(thats with a 490/1300 OC)

But I decided to push my card hard.

500/1400mhz

= 8686 3dmarks.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1108317

I still think I could push both much higher, as my load temps only went up to about 46C under those speeds, and I had no artifacting.

But I don't really feel like risking my brand new $700 dollar card by pushing it to much, mabye in a few years :(

In the mean time, Im going to be making my everyday clock speeds 490/1300 vs 450/1255
gets me about 8432 3dmarks at those speeds.

Yep. The Winchester has the 512 K cache, so it is a little lower on the processing power. But, 3Dmark05 is mostly GPU, FSB, and mem transfers. So, the CPU processing does not affect the score much.

Have you run AM3 ? What is your CPU score on that test? It is a CPU limited bench, unlike 05. Mine is around 13K at 2.75 GHz. Most FX-55 and FX-57's are around 16K.
See mine is right on there, I get 11K. And my 3000+ is only 512K cache too, that's what I found so odd.

sorry. cant seem to publish my scores...

I've had problems publishing scores when using a non WHQL drivers.

The best score I've ever gotten with WHQL drivers was 7927, but I couldn't get Futuremark's site to open (server not found!) so I couldn't publish it. Best published score is the one above - 7911. I'm using 77.72 drivers.

YEAH!! :D :D
My first 7800 GT score!!
Don't worry about your link I saw the pic in your other thread.

I just pulled 8856 in 05. A64 3500+ @ 2750MHz with 11x multi, HTT @250, Ram is running 1:1 and currently only at 3-4-4-8. This was done really quick as I just put this system together. Oh and my evga 7800GTX auto clocked itself to 515 core and 1.33GHz mem. I may play with it later on...any other setting on this a8n I should investigate?

2730 with the following rig.

Celeron D 2.26
1GB Kingston DDR
Soyo SY-P4VTE mobo
eVGA 6600GT AGP

Maybe it will get better when I add my new CPU this coming week.

8 new scores are needed for the birth of the 1,100 score edition!

Do it NOW.
Do IT now.
DO it NOW.

That is the worst GTX score I have seen yet!
Were you running ANY programs while using 3DMark?
Did you disconnect from the Internet and disable your virus and firewalls?
Did you run 3DMark05 at default settings?
What PSU are you using?
Have you updated your motherboard's BIOS?
Something is wrong I think.

Get ready for new 3dMark05 scores
Getting a AMD64 3200+ instead of a 3500+ cos it clocked shit Besides i found errors in my memory so that could have blocked my overclocking
And Im also getting a DFI LanParty SLI-DR and a 7800GTX
Maybe next summer I'll get another 7800GTX
SLI POWAH

Comments? Is it good?

Your card is at stock speeds and you made it above the average score of 5,113.
Respectable stuff. :)

AhHHH you make me cry!
No I just ran 3dmark as is, i didn't turn anything off or disconnect from the internet.
Currently I'm using an older Aspire 510watt psu.
and my motherboard BIOS is as current as Intel has out. They are slack as hell.
Without the overclock it's about 100 lower :(

I am not trying to hurt your feelings.
But I do encourage you to try again with all your extra stuff turned off.
If that does not give a more normal score, it could mean that something semi serious
is wrong with your setup.

Ok 6856 without any processes running except Hare and not overclocked. I'm going to try reinstalling windows on another hard drive I have. If it's not that then I think it's my crappy intel motherboard. One thing I noticed when I first installed the 7800 is it ran the 6800 demos really crappy (tonberry and nalu) really crappy, but my 6600gt ran the Nalu (lite version) crappy as well...

Just to be sure, you don't have AA/AF or anything in the driver settings right? Because I had the driver settings maxed out and i only got 6300ish the first time I ran 3DMark 05.
