Short version:
What sort of fan control capabilities do DFI boards have (in software, I guess)?
--
Long version:
I'm going to be buying a new case, and I'm considering the Silvestone TJ05. It has the option for a built in "fan controller". Before I make the decision on whether or not to get it with the extra option, I want to know what capabilities fan-wise the DFI LANPARTY nF4 Ultra-D I've ordered is going to have.
I know there's 5 fan ports on the board...but only 3 have speed monitoring capabilities?
Also, what heat monitoring capabilities does the board of (of the crappy internal sensor variety)?
Accordingly, does the DFI have any software to adjust fan speed based off of any sort of temperature settings or similar? If not, how do programs such as SpeedFan (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php) fare?
One final question: does anyone know the voltage limits on the fan ports on the board? (If I wanted to splice two fans into one of the adapters, would it be able to handle that, or no?)
Thanks for any help!...
Xylo
(P.S., I did look at the "manual" but very little information is offered.)
