Hey guys just wanted to post this deal for all my fellow service members out there, if your not one then you probably know one. Pass along the info please.

Anheuser-Busch is currently offering free theme park admission to members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families through a program called “Heroes Salute.”

The program is offered at Busch Gardens theme parks in Williamsburg, Va., and Tampa Bay, Fla., and its three Sea Worlds in Orlando, Fla.; San Antonio; and San Diego. The program, which began in February, will last through Dec. 31. Now thats you and up to three other members of your family troops, hell you dont even have to be there for them to get in free either.. just register at the gate or online at www.herosalute.com

Now here comes the less noble Six Flags who are now offering about half off but only if you live in Gawja. Copy and Paste

Six Flags Over Georgia gives thanks to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces during Military Appreciation Week, June 27 -- July 4, 2005. In honor of their hard work and sacrifice, the park is offering military families a well-deserved break including FREE playtime. From June 27 to July 4, active members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard can receive half off one-day admission to the park. To redeem this discount, active service members, reservists, or spouse must show a current military ID June 27 -- July 4 at any Six Flags Over Georgia ticket booth to receive tickets for themselves and immediate family at a discounted rate of $21.99 plus tax.

Yeeaaah for Busch :D thanks goes to Six Flags should be free though:confused:

Good on 'em. Would be cool if they offered them to vets too, but glad to see them doing something. I'll pass along to my daughter who's in the Marine Reserves.

It's good, if u live in the area. What about the other 47 states?

And i agree six flags is being cheap (especially seems how (I guess) it's only in Georgia, but at least it's something.)

Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch.

Why is it some people just have to bitch about anything and everything?

What, is A-B supposed to build multi-million dollar theme parks closer to you? Is allowing you and your family in for free not enough?

Huh? We have 51 states now? AB has California, Texas, Florida (2x) and Virginia. Too bad that I believe it also covers Sesame Place in Pennsylvania (my Platinum Pass for BG covers that, as well as these).

BG has been doing this for the last couple years, since 9/11, here in Virginia. For folks in Virginia, I believe it also covers Watercountry USA (again, free with a Platinum Pass, which is good for 2 years, for all non-military out there).

I may not be in the military, but the guy sitting beside me at work is wearing a Navy Uniform....

[Edit] Just confirmed it... it DOES include Sesame Place and WaterCountry USA, so that's 2x in Virginia, and one in Pennsylvania. That's FIVE states, seven parks (maybe 8... is Treasure Cove in Tampa included, too, or just Busch Gardens Tampa "The Dark Continent"?

Well I'm in the Marines but unfortunately I'm stationed in Washington, too far away for me :( . Still, it's cool that they do that, and I do know a few Marines at Camp Pendleton that I will pass the message along to.

My point was those parks are located in other parts of the US as well that don't seem to be giving these deals. You don't have to be a prick.
