ok to start i love this board, but my system temps are coming up in the high 40s even low 50s (c). is that the nb temp? cpu temp is around 40c which seems normal.
i remember reading other ppls threads saying they readings that were too high for their cpus, were they off for the system temp too... there's no way the inside of my case is that hot! i might replace the nb heatsink with something more active as a cooler but only if these temps are actually right and my nb is running around 50c

anyone have similar probs? i'm running a 3000+cg watercooled. also if you did replace your nb heatsink, what did you use?

thanks!

my 3500+ is running at 51c for some reason...I'm not sure that I trust that temperature...but the air coming out is hot.

(wait, is this the 754 or 939 we're talking about?)

mine seems to be about right(my video card gives a similer ambiant temp). though i do think that it needs beter cooling, i dont know how to, as the lage hsf on my leadtek 6800 gt(which ownes refrence cooling btw) blocks part of the hs so i cant put my zalman hs on the north bridge. i need somthing just as short, but it cant be active.

ps, dont meen to hijack

hmmm so they are that high eh?

maybe i'll go out and get an iceberg for it, i don't think i want to add a nb waterblock to my system...

well, maby the sensor is off. i dont think it is the NB temp. i think its just case temp. core center says its case temp, and i tend to belive them :p

I removed the heatspreader on my FX-53 and my cpu temps dropped 9 degrees celsius. My X800xt also dropped temps too. The temps are still high but that is the bios. All on water by the way.

cpu-36-48
gpu-31-38
system 79 F

jesus man i'm not taking the heatspreader off my cpu haha totally not worth the few degrees celcius to me... kudos to you for doing it though

I think that the heatspreader wasnt allowing my waterblock to operate properly, I am glad I did it.
