What type of memory will work best with this motherboard?

1 stick that is double sided?

2 sticks that are single sided?

Or is this a non-issue with the ultra 400?

I think (for the most part) that the Asus board is the one really finicky about memory.
 
Good thing he has an Abit board! ;) just joshin' ya.

this is I think a non-issue. When I had my NF7-S, I ran Hyperx, while a friend of mine ran Kreton ram....
 
A-Data 3200 works good with it, in Dual Channel also. No memtest errors.

So it is safe to say that this board will accept just about any type of memory - as in - single or double sided etc.

Now, I realize that SPD settings play a heavy role in performance, but if you had a choice, would you buy one stick of 1 gig or 2 512m sticks?


Would I see a peformance boost using two 512 sticks?
