• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

    OSX home mail server?

You don't absolutely need a static IP. Before we paid for a static we just used DynDNS.org They have a mailhop solution that basically does: Email in -> Mailhop -> your server So if your server IP changed it would be held at the mailhop until the DNS updated with your new ip. Which is...

    OSX home mail server?

Yes you can. And yes there is a webbased client for checking. There are a couple problems though. Running your own home mail can be dependent on your ISP. I ran an exchange box from my parents house for a couple years. Paid 5$ more/mo and they were happy to let me send mail and give me a...

Google Sync and losing calendar and contacts entries

I use google app's sync for iphone/ipad and don't have problems. I use exchange (rather than gmail choice when setting up email) with m.google.com for server/domain and <user>@<domain> for user. "For the email I used Gmail that is included with the iPhone." So are you using the 'pop/imap'...

    MBP refresh?

I'm hoping for a higher resolution on the 13s. Lenovo has a 13" with 1440 x 900, and we're still at 1280 x 800. Hopefully, since they have their 27" imacs at a high pixel density they'll do the same with the laptops.

I've got no complaints on them. They're pretty quick for 5400RPM, no errors on the ones I got. I've heard of people with some problems w/ the earlier 2tb WD 'green' drives, so I figured I'd stay clear. Though, I have a 1TB WD somewhere that's been fine for a year.

    HD4350 No HDMI Audio

It could be your receiver. While I was running windows 7 RC I couldn't for the life of me get the sound to work through HDMI with my denon receiver. But if I plugged it straight into my TV it would work fine. Same problem with Arch Linux it seems.

    SSDs make my head explode

I got the OCZ Vertex 64g, no complaints here, boot up is 11seconds. I'd probably of gone with the intel had I not gotten a great deal on my OCZ.
