    LaCie 730 - this was first 30" with LED (~ 2009), but it uses 2560x1600 PVA panel with matte surface Dell U3013HM should be the first 30" IPS with LED, probably in winter, not sure about matte / glossy

    all current 30" IPS panels uses CCFL backlight ( LG LM300WQ5 , LM300WQ3 , LM300WQ1 , LM300W01 ) newer 30" LED IPS panel LG LM300WQ6 with LED backlight is yet to be released
