That's not true. I originally bought into Steam because I just wanted to simply play Half-Life 2. Clearly we have unique reasons for doing thing sometimes.
I'll try to take a stab at this, though you seem stuck in the mud. So you bought the software, so what?, I bought a 14.4 kbps modem, doesn't mean I still use it. Nero was outdated for ripping music 15+ years ago, and as far as I know it still is...
Now that were a couple of years on after the introduction of LGA 1700, what are your reflections and experiences from Intel's rectangular shaped CPUs in regards to temps and the heatsink mount holding up? Were the concerns over bending and uneven...
I'm looking at video cards on Newegg at the moment. I see a graphics card that has 3 distinct clockspeeds listed for it under it's product specifications. It has a "core clock", a "game clock" and a "boost clock".
Logically i'd assume that the...
Very easy for me, at moment I have 7700x@6200 RAM and 7900x@6600 RAM, both tuned.

If you look at the 0.1% lows, which are always the best indication of micro stutters, they are fine in some of the games in the reviews you posted, but very bad compared to the rest of the field in others. Basically some games run fine while...
The repo obliteration aspect is nothing more than evidence concealment. Now we can't track down who pushed what updates and actually installed the backdoor.
One could also use NTFS which is natively supported on Windows and Linux (kernel-based now). For all the positives about ZFS there are also downsides that don't usually get mentioned.
(I realize though the OP is the author of a ZFS front-end so...
Trudat, and as for scratches, that would really depend on the coating material & process... I've seen various sized sheets of it which were heat-tempered & coated with a layer of a top quality, molecular-bonded epoxy urethane during the milling...
Steel, titanium and aluminium all have coincidentally almost the same stiffness to weight ratio. However, since titanium is lighter, that means that a case made to be the same weight as a steel case will have thicker panels, and since the...
