For my usage, it's really hard to see so agree about gaming specific. When I do use for non-gaming, don't have any windows/apps taking up full screen so it doesn't present itself. For those who do use it for photo/video editing could see this as a return easily.

It's seriously terrible. Monitors stagnated for decades after CRT and now that CPU/GPU are taking off we get this. Speaking of 3080, running that right now with 5900x so I'll be using DLSS Mode L -> Ultra Performance with this monitor lol

What's the game fps during the vrr flicker? Is it under 30 or higher?

AW3423DW user here, no problem running it. My GPU can't "Run" it as high as I want though lol =P The only limitation I see is you need to adjust Refresh rate in the Nvidia Control Panel vs Windows Advanced panel settings.

Actually never even looked into the OP topic until now but will answer. AW3423DW owner for over a year now officially and have always wanted smoother gameplay along with some inky blacks. Comes with a 3 year burn-in warranty so will put to use when necessary. Monitors are a game of compromise...

Wow, looks like I'm ahead of everybody with a C6! Still love this TV but it's sad 3D didn't actually become viable for home use until 4k panels came out. Maybe the new Avatar will result in new 3D tv's again. *Crossing fingers* though likely not happening =P
