Hyundai Reveals Smart Fingerprint Technology to Unlock and Start Cars

Well I'd imagine that you'd be required to register more than one fingerprint with the car. Also, logic would assume that this would only be an alternative to using a key and that the traditional key fob will still be a backup option. Don't see the problem with it being an option myself.

    OLED iPad Pro..

I believe OLED screens are still too expensive for them to implement a 10+ inch screen into an iPad at a reasonable price . It'd be nice to see but I think the cost of such a display is the prohibiting factor there right now, if the cost of the X/XR/XS/XS Max iPhones are anything to go by.

Why Are PCs Sales Growing While Mac Sales Are Crashing?

Cost is definitely a factor also, especially here in the UK. I'm on a 4.5 year old MacBook Pro 13" that cost me £1250 at the time - i5 2.3GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD so it was decent enough. At the time I wanted a high res screen - this MBP is 2560x1600 and there were no decent high-res PC laptops...

US Visa Applicants to Be Asked for Social Media History

Doesn't surprise me. When I filled out my ESTA (visa waiver) to be able to visit the USA I was asked for all my social media account information. It was optional on the ESTA application back in January 2017, but I bet it's only a matter of time before that's compulsory on there too.

Drivers Blinded by “Too-Bright” LED Headlights on New Cars, Warns RAC

Yeah absolutely. Here in the UK it's also illegal to have HIDs etc without projector lenses, self-levelling and washers but it doesn't seem to stop idiots from fitting them. Luckily, at some point this year our MOT test (for those who don't know, a yearly test for cars 3 years and over to say...

i7-6850 New or i7-5820 Used Which to buy?

I'd say the cost difference would be the deciding factor here. At the same sort of price the 6850 makes sense, but if the 5820 is a fair bit cheaper then that would be the way to go in my opinion.

    Seagate Archive 8TB Reliability?

I have two of them myself - both are ST8000AS0002. They've been sat in an HP Microserver for just a shade under 2 years now - I bought them June 30th 2015 for a very good price at the time and they've been in near 24/7 operation since. They've obviously not been hammered with constant...

650w enough for new Kaby Lake build with 1080

Yes it's definitely fine. I've just put together an ITX system with 7700K, GeForce 1080 Ti, 4 drives (1xM.2, 2x2.5" SATA SSDs and 1x3.5" mech HD) and it's running great. I went with an EVGA Supernova G3 650w and the PSU barely gets warm when the system is playing games.
