Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am working full time, raising 2 kids and my wife's illness prevents her from working. On top of that I do side work to make ends meet. Sad stories wont put food on my table and the loss of the $600 and I still had to replace them with NEW laptops. So it cost me more than the cash, it cost me...
Tyler is just trying to spin this any way he can, to dodge the fact that he DID NOT ship those two laptops. Whatever he claims, in the manner of "minor annoyance of communications" has absolutely nothing to do with the fact he ripped me off.
Where is the tracking number that says...
I got the $150 reversed, I stated that fact already. You sent me emails saying you were dealing with USPS about the loss. I sent you many emails after your reply on 6-14. You chose to take this public. You insured the laptops for $650, that covers my $450 and even leaves you $50 extra for your...
I know Katin and have bought things from him in real life, if he was buying from here and mailing me stuff he should have told me. He doesnt have a car and I call him "pony express" I think the Mods banned him for slow mailing, never scam.
My point isnt about Tylers "intentions" when he sold me...
Linking issues you have with other people will not get you off the hook for you not dealing with this in a correct manor.
How will you fix YOUR rep? I am not Jason or any other person you linked. You know my Cell#, my name is Zack, my PayPal is mine!
Are you still stating that you dont have...
So if its not a SCAM, then where are my laptops? Do i need to post the payments I made? You know you got the $600 and if they got "lost" then why cant you post a tracking# and insurance claim number?
Are you saying the posted emails are not from you?
He posted e6400 Laptop deals here 2 different times. Feb-2010 and May-2010. He also had someone say they bought 2 on 04-11-2010.

Just in case he attempts to comes up with a fake sob story, I have kept all the email correspondence and the paypal receipt of payments The purchase was for the company I work at, and I almost got fired from my work because of this.
He's a scammer. I ordered 2 E6400 Dell laptop few months ago. It didn't arrive for few weeks, and he kept on promising that he shipped it with a fake usps insured mail number. He asked to send payment in gift paypal to start with, knowing there is no way to dispute the payment. This dragged...
I should have re-phrased the questions to HP media smart server (ex 470 to be exact) isntead of WHS v1. HP mediasmart servers come with restore disk(installation of whs v1 over network) So I would install the disk on my own computer, and it would detect the mss server on the network and...
Thank you for all the replies.
I still have one question.
Since I will be using HP restore disk to install WHS v1 again, how do I make sure the partition is alligned? (or which program). Do I re-install and move the boot hard drive to another machine and then do it?
thank you for all the replies. that really cleared things up for me.
Last question, I understand it will just work as emulation mode on whs v1.
How much performance loss is there when using it in emulation mode, or is there none?
when WD came out with EARS line (4k format drives) WHS v1 users had to either install then use WDallign tool to allign the partition, or plug a jumper on the back so the OS thinks it's not 4k. I don't think the samsung F4 has the jumper function to do this.
I was worried about re-installing...
