    Customers use them for large internal systems. Some live data, some archive. Also cloud companies use them for their storage. If using 6TB drives, total raw is 360TB. That sounds huge now, but in the future your phone will hold more than that :cool:

    SAS Expander question

    The Supermicro SAS expanders are definitely easier to work with than HP. The expander chip is LSI (now Avago) and works well with LSI controllers.
