Another thing for me was I could not use the pinky rest on it. Basically any small amount of pressure i put on it would tweak it thereby raising the other side the smallest amount causing inaccuracy issues as well.

Unfortunately I've seen various reports of this problem with the RAT and accuracy problems. I have a RAT7 and for me it was terrible on the Cyborg pad I had as well. It runs fine on my desk though. Also any little piece of lint that gets on the eye will cause major issues and I have to qtip it...

This right here. I run my mouse directly on my desk surface because the RAT I have had some accuracy problems on the pad I have. I dust my desk with Pledge every week or so and it keeps the mouse gliding like a dream.

I love my v1 g15 so I understand the desire to fix yours. I spilled something on mine and some buttons stopped working. Something to keep in mind back when I replaced it I found the Italian version for cheaper and just swapped the different keys off my old one. Too bad I can't find a cheaper...

I for one am more interested in a mousepad than an ipad. Waiting with bated breath.

You might be better served by a 4 core black edition if you can get that and a MB for around the same price. I'm running a 1055t. Stock clock on it is only 2.8ghz and my gaming performance improves greatly when i OC up to 3.5ghz and higher. The multiplier is locked on it so if you do go with...
