DisplayPort 1.4 = DisplayPort 1.3 plus data compression (doesn’t increase the overall transmission bandwidth). All GPUs with support for DP 1.3 will support DP 1.4. The market will jump from DP 1.2 to 1.4, skipping DP 1.3 entirely.
