I'm afraid of giving up 4K since I mainly do photo editing because it's so much clearer and better contrast when I do my work... But there is only 1 4k option with the new rtx cards and it's very pricey since it isn't on sale.

Selling used gaming pc is tough.. If you've got someone lined up I'd do it. That's a great price to upgrade but it depends if you really need it. Like the other user said, unless you plan to play on 1440p with like 140hz the upgrade would be minimal on 1080p

I've considered these but don't want to buy without feeling the table's consistency..sometimes an actual mat just feels better. If you check slickdeals from time to time you can get a huge mouse gaming mat for around 15$
