Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I suspect the issue with you not being about to get past the 46x multiplier is the cpu voltage.
On my Gigabyte board there is a huge voltage drop under load, I enabled the Load Line Calibration feature in the BIOS to help.
You can see the vdroop pretty easy, set your voltage to whatever...
Havent been able to get the gpu client to run on this box since I set it up the other day. havent really bothered debugging it either.
Ill pull the gpu config out and see what happens.
Currenr voltage is 1.42 and thats after the LLC bump from the bios setting of 1.375
how would I go about measuring wattage?
Using something like a kill-a-watt?
That part would be interesting, then I could know what my heat sink is trying to deal with.
Voltage is at 1.4 because of LLC. Its set to 1.375, but under load LLC is bumping up the voltage quite a lot to...

Got my proc from the boston/camebridge store.
They were not honoring the online reservations. It was first come first serve. If you were planing on going in later to pick up your reserve you will be very sorry.
Its going to be a pretty brutal day, you give them your CC and a promise to pay, and they can kinda just shrug you off whenever they want.
Reserved a 2600k at my store, said there were two left in stock, now only one. Hope everything works out and I can get my hands on one.
Did not know Gigabyte was doing an NDA until the 9th, thanks for this.
I purchased a UD5 board a week ago and was starting to wonder where all the hype was about my board.
I need my purchasing decision validated Gigabyte why must you make me wait!
Went with the Gigabyte UD5 board. Almost sprung for the UD7 but saw someone with a solid overclock on the UD5 so that sold it for me.

All my parts for my new sandy bridge setup are expected to arrive early this week. Only thing missing will be the processor.
Planing on buying a 2500k on launch day. Unsure of where to order from. No news from newegg if they will be carrying the processor on launch day. Maybe purchase in...
Just got my evga gtx 460 in the mail yesterday. Was so pumped about going from 9k ppd on my old gtx 260 to 14k ppd with the new card. But it looks like the same day I got my card the 6800 work units came out and they were the only thing you could get and Im kinda bummed.
Maybe in a few weeks...
