Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What's your point?
That anti-reflective glass causes blacks=grey? If so, I fail to comprehend how that is logically possible. The black level is dependent solely on the panel and backlighting.
1. Not all TN panels are the same.
2. Not all IPS panels are good.
3. There are many other aspects of the monitor that you ought to analyse. Input lag, flicker-free backlighting, black levels, colour accuracy, contrast, etc.
First of all, I question whether you truly need an IPS panel.
Is it for the purported colour accuracy or colour gamut? Well, you'll be surprised to learn that quality TN panels can beat IPS panels in these aspects.
Is it for the ostensibly better viewing angles? Well, TN offer decent...
I think the most exciting feature is the anti-reflective glass screen though.
"feature a glass coating for super-clear images, but has an anti-smudge and anti-reflective coating to it which really helps cut out the glare." Source: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/news_archive/31.htm#dell_up2715k...
Does this sentence make any sense to anyone???
"With the recent release of the Z97 Intel Express chipset, and Intel's communicating that it seemed a Z97 chipset motherboard would be required for Devil's Canyon usage, has surely left some with a bad taste in their mouth especially if you are...
Is the Samsung 840 EVO 1TB slated for review anytime soon? I'm curious to know how the steady state 70/30 read/write performance as well as the latency of the EVO 1TB compares with the Crucial M500 960GB. Sadly, few other review site test for these two extremely important performance metrics.
That's just your opinion, don't make it sound as if it's a biblical truth. I can definitely notice the input lag of my U2713HM, which is tested to be faster than the U2713H. It's therefore likely that Deredox will notice the input lag of the U2713H.

After spending 2 months with the U2713HM, I decided to publish my thoughts on this monitor.
Green to indicate aspects which I want Dell monitors to continue to have.
Yellow to indicate aspects which I want to see improvements in.
Pros:
PWM flicker is indeed non-existent, even at 0%...
Thank you Mark for your very informative post!
Do you have any monitors to recommend? One that preferably can cover the sRGB colour space entirely and has correct gamma so that colours don't look washed out.
All things considered, I decided to go with the U2713HM. Here are some of my thoughts regarding the monitor after a week of use. Hopefully they will help wyqtor decide if it suitable for him.
The monitor is currently hooked up to my Macbook Air via a minidisplay port to display port cable. FYI...
One thing that worries me though is the use of FRC in the VP2770. I know that few people are affected by FRC flicker, but I don't want to take any chances. Are there any complaints about FRC flicker? Google search yielded nothing. And does 8+2 FRC cause less flicker than 6+2 FRC, since the...
