    Yeh a fan blowing onto the card is a must... I have a 120 sunnon blowwing onto 2 and it keeps them nice and cool ;)

    I also had this probelm i fixed it by togiling the s13 setting (or something like that) in the AOC bios it makes the drives not bootable at boot time :p

    have you tryed hevy load that is what i was havving trouble with it would lock up the raid card (all the activity lights would jam on and the server would freeze). i have not managed to compile the kernel in debian yet. :mad:

    From what i can see 2.6.35-rc2 mainline has the mvsas patch's, I am going to give it a go tonight. will let you know how it goes.
