Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey have a look at http://www.moosefs.org/ I have played around with it a bit and it looks like it fulfills most of your criteria but i am unsure on proformance.
i got my cables from ebay as Deal Exteeme was always sold out.

I also had this probelm i fixed it by togiling the s13 setting (or something like that) in the AOC bios it makes the drives not bootable at boot time :p
have you tryed hevy load that is what i was havving trouble with it would lock up the raid card (all the activity lights would jam on and the server would freeze). i have not managed to compile the kernel in debian yet.
After buying 2 of these for a file server I could not be happier with the performance in Debian with a patched kernel.
