    I got an 14” IdeaPad a year and a half ago and it’s solid. Never gets hot running Win11 or Linux. The only time the fan runs is if I’m in the bios for more than 5 seconds. lol. Good battery life too.

    Well sparetimepc team 111065 shows over a million points at the 12pm EOC site and even now only 856k after the 3pm update on Real-time. My own stats took a long time to catch up but finally did.

    If GPU folding try lowering the power to 85-90%. Won’t be much of a hit on ppd. If CPU is folding lower the cores/threads used. This will impact your ppd. If you’re not going for max ppd things should run smoother.

    Thanks! Procmon didn’t reveal anything in that regard and some googling suggested ms teams and widgets as likely culprits, but I chucked them long ago. So not a huge problem, probably just some of that weirdness mentioned in an earlier comment.
