    HD800 ($1,499.95) is on the list so price has nothing to do with it. Many say beyerdynamics T1 is better and costs less which is also on their list. But I haven't heard HD25 so will not comment further. I would put Shure 840 on their list over M50 anyway so do not agree 100% with their list.

    I have M50 and they are nice but the padding is not all that good, better if you get some Shure 840 pads and put them on the M50. Shure 840 is another headphone you should be looking at, very smooth and great with rock music. Overall I like them better than M50 but M50 has more pronounced mids.

    I had actually ordered the DT990 consumer version because the online store claimed they were out of stock of the cheaper pro version. But what they sent me was the pro version. I was hopping mad after that and reported them to Amazon for bait and switch and made them compensate me for it too.

    Possible but either way it doesn't matter because lower noise is more impront to me. Gigabyte is also factory OC an extra 50mhz compared to stock but when I ran the test I had both cards set at 850mhz manually. Did you do that or was not your Gigabyte OC by 50mhz like mine is?
