+2... I think x1950XT for 1400x900 resolution is more than enough, I'm also using 19"Wide LCD monitor running at 1400x900, and already it worked fine with my Nvidia 7600GT hehehehe... although it can get a little messy with games at higher quality settings tho'... :o
Hi everyone, I'm planning to upgrade my videocard to Geforce 7600GT (Palit 7600GT Sonic), I have a generic 500Watts PSU (LC-B500E) which comes with the casing that I bought some time ago, it is said that its 12V+ rail only offers 18amps, can I run 7600GT with this limited amperage? I tried...
Is it true that Nvidia will be releasing a cutdown version of 8800GTS at 320MB, to go against the x1950 Series... And what's nice, its at $299USD price range...
x1950 XT 256MB vs. 8800GTS 320MB
:p
I think it is pointless to upgrade 7800GTX for 7950GT... Because you will not notice any difference afterwards; since they both run at almost the same speed... (I think...)
I will go with Mafi0So's thought, wait for DirectX 10 system to at least mature a little, then do upgrades... :cool:

What a shame, I though it was real... :o
Season's Greetings to each and everyone,
I'm planning to upgrade my videocard to something like Radeon x1950 XT . Currently I'm using a computer with a PSU model LC-B500E, which states that it has a 500Watts Max output, what worries me is its 12V 18amp output, because according to one site...
@FigtherAce124:
Thank you very much for the complement, my real reason for asking, as many opinions as possible, is because, one cannot really decide on their own, regarding which one's (videocard technology) is better, for that certain situation like price range, type of games played...
Wow! Nice radeon x1950Pro variant, i wish it comes with a 512MB as well, problem is Sapphire brand is kindda weak in my place, not because Sapphire sucks, but because of our local distributor for Sapphire suck ass!, I know Sapphire is producing attractive products, but the distributor fails to...

I don't think I will be able to avail this deal... :(
Hhhhmmm I see geforce 7950GT is indeed a bit more powerful than x1950 Pro hhhmmm ok ok thanks... :)
Hhhhmmm Ok as of now my order of preference would be...
1. Radeon x1950 Pro 512MB
2. Geforce 7950GT
3. *** Radeon x1950 XT (256MB)
how about the x1900 XT (256MB)? I think we have x1900XT (256MB) [Gecube x1900XT 256MB] but not x1950XT, do you guys think its a good choice to get a...
