    I'm on air You'd be better off comparing MBs than the same processor. The FSB dies well before the CPU. If you somehow have an 9450 and 3350 with unlocked multipliers, then your test would be worth your time.

    Perhaps for some, but there are people like myself who are interested in the SSE4 capability for encoding which made it a no brainer.

    It's not that simple. A q9450 will run faster than a 6600 at the same clock speed for many reasons.
