    Dell 2005FPW & Soyo DYLM26E6

I agree.. Nothing can come close to my 2005FPW within a reasonable price range.

    X3350 or Q9450, which OC's better?

Just got my X3350, few questions

I'm running my 9450 stable at 3.82ghz with my 780i. Could be your memory.. bump up voltage a bit on memory and NB

    Another Q9450 Overclock

None.. leave it on auto and you'll be fine.

I'm on air You'd be better off comparing MBs than the same processor. The FSB dies well before the CPU. If you somehow have an 9450 and 3350 with unlocked multipliers, then your test would be worth your time.

Don't you get it? It doesn't matter.

    Another Q9450 Overclock

Been running at 3.82ghz stable for a couple weeks..

    Crucial Ballistix - Another RMA

or you can just run them at 2.2v as Corsair rates the memory and you'll be fine.

Q9450 $299 via online at Microcenter

or get a $50 gift card if picked up in store.

    Kinda dissapointed with my Q9450

780i is doing well. Been running stable at 3.6ghz for a couple weeks.

    So I have 4 GB of DDR2 800 Ballistix

Corsair rates the memory at requiring 2.2v. Why would you undervolt what the manufacturer specifies?

    My Q9450 / 780i Build, OC, & Benches! [PICS]

For the same reason his HDs aren't plugged in.. He's showing off his components, not a bunch of cables.

So ya think the Q9450 will get a killer stepping change like the Q6600's G0?

Perhaps for some, but there are people like myself who are interested in the SSE4 capability for encoding which made it a no brainer.

So ya think the Q9450 will get a killer stepping change like the Q6600's G0?

It's not that simple. A q9450 will run faster than a 6600 at the same clock speed for many reasons.

    Stable at 3.6ghz here.
