No, most likely a different pin layout for Haswell.

Tri-Gate is Intel's implementation of a multi-gate transistor. Others call it FinFET, which is similar but not quite the same. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multigate_device

I've seen places that have Win2000 print servers and payroll processing. It doesn't mean their whole infrastructure is backdated.

At my place we have a guy that wrote a .kix (basically batch file) script to enable the PC name on a blue blank background.

AFAIK, continued updates past the extended support day will stop. Existing ones will still be there for download.

Amazing game (back in the DOS/95 days). Brings back good memories. Can't pass up the nostalgia, especially if it's free.

Just got an email for this. IN STORE ONLY http://www.microcenter.com/single-product-results.aspx?sku=583369 Will most likely work with the motherboard combo discount. It did last time it was $249.99. FFXIV bundle is still good until Dec. 31st. Have to ask a sales rep.

Exactly. Pretty sure [H] gets Eng Samples as well. Notice how they post their review the day the NDA lifts.

I don't see why you couldn't. They're both 780's so there's no problem.

Paladin is the "promoted" class of gladiator (level 30+) and "secondary" conjurer (15+). You'll eventually get free gear once you hit level 45 that is specific to your class. Otherwise just pick up whatever is an upgrade from quests. Don't spend gil/seals on low level gear...

Depends on the lottery. Its a love / hate relationship. Sandy/Ivy users aren't thrilled with Haswell when comparing overclocks.

Don't even think about it. This chip and GK110 will never find their way into mobile. These are monsters in power consumption, heat and circuitry.

How does twitter even make that much money?

I'm not gonna lie, servers are pretty packed. They're going to add more world and instance servers mid October. I'm on a less populated server, Siren, and there's always a 5-10 person queue time to enter. I can't imagine how it is on more popular servers like Behemoth or Ultos.

Well if you look at the individual threads being used, it's an easy way to tell. I'm not talking about the "whole" CPU utilization.
