The pins that your are missing are probably just the extra grounding wires. They are there to handle the load better. But if you have a decent PSU and stuff is running then you're probably fine. If you're running a no named cheap made PSU with crappy gauge wires, then I'd be worried.
That board doesn't look that bad at all. You'll need a good fine tip soldering pen. The second pic that has all those nice flat spots to easily solder to. First hit it with the pen and some solder to get a nice little pool going on it. Then presolder a wire so that some solder has soaked into...
I use my G4mac mini as a webbrowser/instant message machine. Stays on next to my main pc rig on a separate monitor. Not bad too considering it only draws about 24watts. I just leave it on 24/7. Check email, browse web, instant message while in game on the other rig.

What kind of splitter is this? Is it just a Y cable splitter? or is it a DVI Switch?

I own both an HX and a TX style psu. The modular of HX is nice but the flat cable design of Corsair is nothing to brag about.
If you plan on doing power hungry Tripple SLI or future things that would require those PCIE 8pin then you might want to go more for the TX. The TX has 4 of those...
Why didn't you mention this to me earlier. I had same problem at my store too (Palo Alto). I referenced the ad and cashier said okay I'll have to ring you up separate. Not too much of an issue if I was using two different credit cards but I was using company credit card so I had to wait there...
Antec MX-1 is fan cooled.. this is MX-100 (looks exactly like vantec enclosures) and does not have a fan. So I'm with Kuyaglen on this in not seeing how others are thinking there's a fan.
I ordered mine yesterday and it was shipped in 15 minutes. Checked the tracking and it's already on a truck set to arrive on Christmas Eve. I know what I'm doing for Christmas
Props to BFG. I'm actually glad my dell order got screwed now. I'm also a firm supporter of BFG, they have a...
