AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

Was less than 30 days, ended up calling a different Return Specialist team and they took care of it. Hoping the next one is different, if not i'm dipping out till the next release after reading reviews of people's struggles with the similar LG model.

AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

So was anyone here able to get dell to actually send out a new monitor due to half the screen being darker than the other or for backlight bleed? The tech I spoke with this evening said neither of those issues were covered under warranty, and my only option was to return it. Honestly I could...

Bitcoin value cut in half as cryptocurrencies tumble in weekend slide 05-24-2021

Bitcoin is an asset, not a currency. It's not built to handle the transactions and supply necessary to facilitate the world's economy. Other cryptos may in the future, but BTC never will. I would not be surprised if one day the market cap of ETH surpasses BTC.

Is there something wrong with my 5950x?

This is a golden chip, and not the norm at all. Most reviewers were also sent cherry picks as well.

    Is this a Decent 5950X?

I wish either of my 5950Xs were as nice as that one. One chip has 2 cores that will boost to 5 ghz on the rare occasion at start up, the other has none. Neither has a second chiplet with a core that will hit 4.9. CB20 single core on one can't break 627 on the other it's 612. Ryzen CTR tells...

    AMD 3950+ Issue

Voltages are definitely too high for everyday use with that cooler. Anything above 1.35v vcore is asking for trouble and higher temps, like an earlier poster said 1.325v is the comfort zone. Keep in mind there are some cases where lowering voltage will actually yield better results due to the...

    EVGA RMA support.

Considering everything that died was in close proximity to each other (if you were using the top PCI-E slot) it sounds to me like something went haywire on your motherboard. Sad to say though I'm not sure a motherboard oem would offer to replace your GPU even if their motherboard was the cause...

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti $999.99

Some of the cost is due to the size of the Chip. It's gigantic, the biggest Nvidia has produced on its current node, maybe even any node, and yields are supposedly pretty low (Probably part of the reason we haven't seen a 2080ti Super). Not that I think it's rational for a consumer GPU to cost...

HOT ! Various 1TB NVMe with coveted E12 Controller $135 aprox retail

    EVGA RMA support.

Best support in tech I've experienced has been Corsair. They aren't the fastest, but they've always come through for me. I know a lot of people have had nightmare stories though.

    EVGA RMA support.

It's most definitely not always excellent. I went through a month of back and forth just to get a malfunctioning fan replaced for a 2080ti Hybrid CLC cooler. From telling me it was just fine that it wasn't controllable in Precision X1 to BIOS flashing bs which they never supplied, I honestly...

ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero not booting error code 90

Same boat as you, if given the chance to do it over again, I would go with the Gigabyte board. I had problems with my system crashing when entering and leaving sleep for 3 months. Turned out I had to manually set the VTTDDR even at stock 2133mhz before it would stop crashing, drove me nuts...

    3950X Midnight Countdown

It was store dependent. The MC in Parkville, MD held one for me until 8 PM yesterday. Had to drive 160 miles round trip to get it, but totally worth it. Glad I didn't pick the MC at St. David's in PA, or they would have canceled my order.

    I blew up my 3600

is 4.25 at 1.42v really that good of an all core oc on Ryzen 3000? That voltage seems a bit high for being manually set. From what I've seen, most don't recommend going over 1.35v for manually set voltage. I'm currently at 1.325v @ 4200 on my 3700x.

Safely Removing EVGA Precision X16 and undoing it's settings/clean install of GPU drivers.

Make sure you aren't connected to the internet after you use DDU, or windows will install drivers for the new GPU upon boot up, which most likely will be months behind. There's also a setting in DDU to prevent windows from doing that, but they recommend reverting that change after you install...
