I think this is a price drop. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=150461

According to Gary Keys of Anandtech, the release date for Cat 7.5 is May 31st.

To my knowledge the 2900XT will still need to use some CPU to decode videos.

Just got it from BB. Didn't think people would line up before the store opened. This monitor seems brighter than my 20.1 Sceptre.

It seems I didn't wake up yet. From the article, it sounds like they are including more games?

http://pc.ign.com/articles/790/790013p1.html Looks like early buyer get the black box and the rest get something else.

Drivers are still immature. Give ATi some time to crank out some drivers then make your decision. The latest beta drivers give 10-30% performance in game but sacrifices IQ.

NDA hasn't expired yet.

We will see soon enough. Sampsa over at XS also hinted at the same thing. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2180185&postcount=34

If this magazine is true, then 16 TMUs. http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=985622&postcount=5333

Fall asleep after you post the review.

Dynasty and Enjoy both confirmed there will be a 1GB gddr4 version of the 2900. It will still be called 2900XT. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2185807&postcount=46 http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2185938&postcount=49...

Not official sources, but when people read articles from the INQ like this. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=948&Itemid=1 They tend to get crazy ideas that R600 will be the G80 killer. Then you have people with the mindset that since the R600 is coming out...

HIS will be this. BTW, ewiz link got zapped.

According to Tony of XS, IT-review did not sign an NDA.
