    That's not at all how that would work at all. When your VRAM's capped out, it doesn't matter how much memory bandwidth you have. The only thing that can mitigate it is pulling data over the PCIE bus. And both the 3080 and the 4070 are PCIe 4.0 x16, so they'll have identical(-ish) data...
