Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ah, so just use a Mini-DP to DP lead and a DP cable and you're good to go @120Hz?
Do you have any quirks/issues with using DP or does it work flawlessly?
I want to get 2 extra 120Hz screens soon but I'll have to switch to AMD or use a SLI setup.
Hey Vega, how did you hook up these screens to a 7970 if it only has one DVI port?
Did you connect them using the Mini-DP ports? Does that run 120Hz just by using a Mini-DP to DP cable? Or did you use active adaptors for this?
Cheers
I've had my Silverstone FT02 Black for a while now, ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The dust filters are amazing too, they work really well and are so easy to clean... best case I've ever had by far. This topic also convinced me to buy one :)
Just one question: I'd like a nice fan controller (rather than...
I would really like a PLP setup too, but it seems quite impossible to make one nowadays. You really need to go buy 2 Dell 2007WFP's off ebay, any other combination doesn't really seem to fit/match. And it sucks to have 2 TN panels on the sides in case you want any other side monitors.
At the end of the day, you probably DON'T want to use any adapter at all to connect these apple screens. I think the only solution is to either get a HD 5970 or HD 5870 Eyefinity, or don't buy it at all.
If you already have one of these graphics cards, then it's no problem for you to buy this...
Thanks for the advice.
However, like I said in the post I'd prefer something 32-37". Got any recommendations for those sizes? I'll spend $1200 if its needed, but I'm fine with spending less. ;) It's just that I'm going to put the tv in my pc room, not in the living room, and 47" is kind of huge...
I've been checking back in time a bit, but couldn't manage to find a topic like this yet.
What would you guys consider the best TV for some good console gaming?
Of course, input lag and ghosting are the main dealbreaker here. I'm also going with LED backlighting because they just look so much...
Well, it's only Mini-DP so it won't fit into most graphics cards without an adapter. But it will fit straight into a Radeon 5870 Eyefinity edition, no?
