Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
For tubing, its kinda difficult to suggest anything but Tygon R-3606 with 1/8" walls: http://www.tygon.com/tygon-r3603-vacuum-tubing.aspx
As for where to buy it at a reasonable price, that may take some looking. I usually buy it from whichever science supply company has the best deals for my...
That's really a shame, as the two I have are hands down the best PSU's I've had. The software thing is actually less useful than what you get in terms of sensors in HWMonitor or Everest, mainly the current readings on the 12V rails. I don't think that I've used the actual bundled software other...
Yeah, I actually have one of those, the Odin Pro 1200W. But I really like the software features on my Odin GT 800W, so I was excited at the prospect of getting a replacement for my 1200W. That was about a year ago when there was some obscure announcement of the GT 1200W being imminent but...
Does anybody know if the 80plus certification ever got approved for the Channel Well Tech-built Gygabyte Odin GT 1200W. I cant seem to actually find it anywhere for sale, but I can a product page on the international website...
I have 2 questions for you on this one:
1) Why set the CPU PLL to lock at 1.52 (even though AUTO sets it at that for me anyway)?
2) Is the CPU VTT voltage setting lower than what you were getting on AUTO (mine pushes it up to 1.42 on AUTO)?
I've always had good RMA support from ASUS. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna call right now and wait on hold for another 680i mobo RMA. At least my 790i board from Asus is "rock solid". And heart touching too.
What about the alphacool nexxxos nvxp-3? I know a place thats trying to get rid of some at a rock bottom price. Shipping is another issue. They also have some DD-68s for ~55USD, as well as a dd-78-sli for ~105USD.
So I've decided to put some spare parts that I apparently never got rid of to some kind of use in the form of a spare liquid cooled system. Since I have a pair of NV 6800 Ultras that are rock solid at stock clocks with the stock coolers, I figure I can give them a good full cover block and see...
The Koolance ALX setup is sorta electrically isolated. Sorta. Its old and has been taken in and out 1000 times, so I doubt its isolated now. I still like the propylene glycol better for 2 reasons:
1: Its extremely easy to clean with pure H2O
2: Its not as toxic as ethylene glycol (but you...
I know this is sort of a stupid question, but what coolant did they use in the corroded systems? Since I'm lazy, I've kept the Koolance pump and rad in my Alienware ALX, but I've upgraded my blocks (EK nickel plated FC-88 GTS and the built-in copper block on my Striker II NSE). I checked with...
