Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
RMA'd sapphire card from Allstarshop is stable after one week with Antec neoHE 550 (my fingers are stiil crossed). Seems to me that an awful lot of the first cards shipped from the mfgs had problems perhaps rectified with later/rma shipments (too bad they didnt catch the problems at the outset)...
Well my sapphire's been running 2 days now. First one croaked in 24hrs. Overall seems to "feel" more stable. No boot problems or artifacting so far (fingers are way crossed)
For neoHE 550 users. I spotted a tip in the users manual that suggested using a dedicated vga line in the number one or...
My sapphire rma arrived back today. Its installed and running. So far I've benched with with 03 and 05 and everything seems OK.
My PSU is an Antec NeoHE 550 with 54amps (3x18). I have (1) line running to the video card alone, (1) line running to my HDs sound card and front fan, and (1) line...
I don't mean to rehash your excellent psu input but I have an antec neohe 550 and need some clarification.
I too have been at the sapphire site and the gurus there seem to say that if your psu is xfire approved it will be ok. However the antec has 3x18 amp 12 volt rails and the sapphire site...
I purchased my card from Allstar Shop and received it on Friday. After installing card and 6.12 ccc I ran some prelim benchmarks in 3dmark 03, 05, 06. Good improvement in scores over the Visiontek 256mb card (I returned it because it didn't have a temp sensor and therefore no overdrive). 05...
The Firingsquad has a review of the card up.
The main points are:
Stock speeds (not 600/700)
Early January availability at etailers
Overclocking via CCC
"Retail" 209.00
I went out to dinner at the wrong time and didn't see email, darn.
So hj when is yours coming in?
Let us know if it works with overdrive in CCC (ie a temp sensor)
Thanks
When I talked to the ZZF people yesterday I refered to the Sapphire card's SKU number. The Amazon listing of the Diamond card at 289.00 sounds about right. As I said yesterday the eta at ZZF was quoted as 12/15. We shall see soon
I was speaking with ZZF this morning re an RMAand they told me that the sapphire card they had listed was 256 not 512mb as they listed. They also said it was available 12/15 so we shall see.
