The reason I looked at that RAM over the other suggestions was that I was just going off of the general ranges of components and that was the first 5/5 with a lot of reviews I saw.
It's not that I think it's that much better, I was just too lazy to click back over to this thread.

Current case can run 5 120mm, has three right now.
If on board is better, I'll just ditch the sound card. That also takes PCI down to one.
Budget for this means complete new build is simply not an option.
I need an upgrade, but I'm stuck back on 939. I could go to a better processor, but the few better ones left (already running an FX-55) would cost more than a new mobo and processor that actually have a future.

So I just got a Macbook Pro (15-in, i7) and I was wanting to put a few games on it. I know about all the Steam stuff, but I'm having trouble even finding out what else exists. I don't really feel like doing boot camp right now (still have a Windows desktop), so what is there?
There's a good chance I'll be moving to Japan for a while (couple of years) later this year, and I was wondering how that will affect my Steam account.
All the support articles I could find dealt with buying new stuff or activating keys, but I want to know about the stuff I already have...
I haven't used an nvidia card in a while, so I can't remember, is there anything special you need to do to get ATI tool running on an 8800 GTS?
Also, is there a better, nvidia centric utility?
