    I wanted to follow up regarding my replacement monitor. It still was too bright and actually had backlight bleed in the top center so I ended up returning it for a refund. The display itself was beautiful and I hate that I had to give it back, but the brightness was just too high for my eyes.

    Mine is darker on the bottom centimeter, and it does look like a gradient. It isn't noticeable unless I really look for it. No reddish tinge.
