In anticipation for a Nova dual-GPU build, would you guys agree with this ranking (in order of best cooling-to-noise ratio):
1. 2x AiO liquid cooling (Corsair HG10 or equivalent)
2. 2x Standard-fans (EVGA ACX or equivalent)
3. 2x Blower-style (Reference design)
(4. feasible or utter insanity?)...
Always been a fan of Dell monitors. This one is tempting indeed, but I'm trying to wait for the Asus/Acer G-SYNC 75hz panels. Should be an interesting comparison.
I gotta agree with mazzy80 here. Any case that has room for dual GPUs should easily accommodate a full ATX PSU.
I'm happy with my SX500-LG in the M1, but it's an extremely tight fit. If SilverStone came out with an improved SX600-G, I would consider replacing it. This SX700-LPT is a pass for me.
The trickiest part to consider is the clearance between the GPU and PSU connectors.
Don't screw in the PSU to the case yet. Plug in all the modular PSU connectors you need first.
You need to bend all those cables up as and secure them somehow. Because of my H100i, I had to get those...
I want to at least jump in here and say that Silverstone is pretty much my only option for a 500W+ SFX(L) power supply. For that alone I'm appreciative. I held off on the SX600-G only because I knew the SX500-LG was coming out with an emphasized effort on reducing noise. Had the SX500 not been...
IIRC there was a site selling custom cables with shorter connectors for the SX600-G. Anyone know where those were, and if they're compatible with the SX500-LG?
FWIW, I couldn't be happier with my SX500-LG. I'm using a H100i in a push configuration (blowing the radiator heat outside the case) and the only time the PSU fan turns on is when my GPU heats up. The H100i does an exceptional job of keeping the PSU in silent fanless mode otherwise.
I also...
How do you use the fan filters? They seem to be a twist-and-lock mechanism but I couldn't find anything for it. Specifically, I want to attach them to the bottom of the case since I plan on using a blower style GPU.

OK so here's my findings. Out of the 5 "Gigabyte Motherboard Temps", only 2 of them changed when I switched from P95 to 3DMark.
GB MB Temp 0: Increased from 35 C to 42 C
GB MB Temp 2: Decreased from 69 C to 30 C
So Temp 0 should be related to the ambient temp, and Temp 2...
I don't have an accurate way to measure my ambient temp, but I have P95 burning my CPU right now and they're running at 80 C. And then according to Corsair Link, I have some "Gigabyte Motherboard Temps" but I don't know what they refer to:
Gigabyte Motherboard Temp 0: 35 C
Gigabyte Motherboard...
