Also what's holding me back from jumping on the 780 price cuts is the BF3 benchmarks in the 290x review -- http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/10/23/amd_radeon_r9_290x_video_card_review/6#.UnAzGhD8ymQ 25 minimum fps for 780 vs. 38 minimum fps for 290x (although nearly identical averages).

There are 3 pieces of critical info that make any decision to buy right now premature for me: 1) BF4 benchmarks 2) 290 pricing / reviews 3) 780 ti reviews I also would like to see what Arctic Cooling has in store for the 290x.

Anyone know if anyone's tested PCI-E 2.0 vs 3.0, and x16 vs x8 on this card?

Do you think the 10 cm crossfire cable would fit with a 6970 accelero II in the primary PCI slot, and a 6990 accelero in the secondary slot?
