    You could use Partition Master Free to create the new partition quickly and free. After installing the windows system, the rest space is enough for your others files and applications? Suggest you to add the disk 2.

    SSD Partition Backup Software

    In my eyes, backup HD image is similar with SSD. Norton Ghost, EaseUS Todo, Acronis are good images and backup software.

    Try third-party backup software, most of them offers the system backup. At least, EaseUS Todo Backup never makes me meet the suffering.
