I am getting slow speeds with a usb stick, however it is not an expencive one, thus I thought it is normal...

Sorry for digging that up, but I am experiencing problems with my usb 3.0 speed. It is just 10-15mb/s over USB2.0 speeds... I tried both GB drivers and Fresco (from their website), but did not see any difference. Tests are made with external USB3.0 HDD, not flash disk.

Thanx bmoney9 :) Have you checked temps on mosfets? If yes, what soft are you using? I tried GPUz & HW-Monitor however none displays mosfets temps...

Sorry for bumping this one... I am waiting for a Gigabyte 7970 OC Rev 2.1 to be delivered. Unfortunatelly I did not know that it is not reference designed, so I cannot use a full cover block. I do own Swiftech MCW80, so I can use this one to make it work. However I am wondering if I...

Official ASUS SSD – P8P67 Series Validation and Support – Including SATA6G SSD

After some time, my Perc went off... So, until I receive a new one I had the time to check the mobo. In conclusion, it wasn't Perc's fault, JMicron was bad or damaged and I RMAed the mobo. Today I got the new one, and works fine with or without the Perc!

I cannot boot without Perc... Every drive is on it, not just the boot one, however, I can pull him out just to post and see what happens.

Maybe it has to do with the Dell Perc5/i that is installed... Some conflict? I cannot see JM on post because P5/i displays its message and it clears the screen...? I do not know. However I still cannot see it under Windows.

Official ASUS SSD – P8P67 Series Validation and Support – Including SATA6G SSD

Surly73, thanx for your detailed answer. I cannot see JM neither under IDE ATA/ATAPI controller, nor under Storage controllers. Under the first section there is only the Inter ACHI controller, and under the second the Dell Perc 5/i. Fortunately, following two of your tips, had a positive...

Raja, I did all of that... I did scan for hw changes. Nothing happened. I did a fresh install. Was not recognized. Should I enable all three options in BIOS ? I think I have the one of them disable, the one about bootable devices.

Official ASUS SSD – P8P67 Series Validation and Support – Including SATA6G SSD

I recently got my new B3 stepping mobo. Since I own a Perc5/i, and all drives are attached there, I set ICHR to ACHI mode and attached there my DVD-RW and an eSata port that is on the case. I also enabled JMicron in BIOS in order for eSata port on the back to function. However, I am not able to...

Official ASUS SSD – P8P67 Series Validation and Support – Including SATA6G SSD

Ok... After 13 days if trying to set up this board, I managed to do it, with a SATA DVD... It is the only way. I have to remove the 4 disks (RAID5) from ports 2-5 (blue), connect there a SATA DVD, install Windows, and then remove the DVD... I am waiting for an extra IDE/SATA controller to be...

bad luck part 12... I managed to get a sata dvd from a friend in order to install Win7, however it does not work... I will have to wait until tomorrow to buy a new one, hoping it will do the job. Unfortunately after installation I 'll have to remove it since I have no empty sata port and the 2...

Well, lets wrap it up... I am trying to set up this mobo 11 days now, but I had no jluck.... I managed to solve this problem, by updating the Intel SSDs firmware with the latest that came out on Jan 26. However, I am still facing problems on installing Win7... My setup consists of a raid0...
