What is the ar-coating on this monitor like ? Does it shimmer like the Dell 2407 ?
Is there any noise related problem with it ? is it dead silent ? I´m in need of a silent & non shimmering monitor.
I´m pretty sure this "problem" is not going to be solved before new backlighting technology arrives ! Please point me to any producer of LCD monitors that clearly states that their model are completely silent. :(

I would try to get an 2405 again as I found the picture quality of the 2407 not on pair with the older 2405,It looked like the screen surface had a texture on it.
