How can I access VMs via RDP from public network ?

I noticed that there is new version ipmi firmware (1.86) is out there.
I wondering if I flashed the firmware via IPMI VIEW, will I lose all the IPMI infomations in the bios?
So that means I can't connect the IPMI unless I reconfigure...
